  • Saint Basil's Day: 1 January – In Greece, traditionally he is the Father Christmas figure.
  • Twelfth Night (Epiphany Eve): 5 January
  • Epiphany: 6 January – the arrival of the Three Magi.
  • Armenian Apostolic Christmas: 6 January
